What this is

A clubhouse for
women building things.

The Collective Clubhouse is a members' house on West Lovers Lane. It's a place to work, meet, host and spend time around other women who are building companies. It grew out of Collective Thirty One, the invite-only community of Dallas founders we've been gathering since 2018. Now that community has a front door.

The Gather: a long green banquette with bistro tables beneath a wall of framed dog paintings
In plain terms

Three things, under one roof.

The Dining Room through glass doors: a round table, green velvet chairs and a floral pendant

A room to host

Dinners, panels, launches, a podcast recording. Members book the rooms and bring their own people, and the house becomes theirs for the afternoon.

The Café: a marble island with cane barstools and floating shelves

A place to work

Come in on a weekday, settle into a room and take calls in the phone booths. It's quiet and it's beautiful, and nobody is selling you anything.

The Lounge: a green velvet sofa, blush chairs and hand-painted bowls on the wall

A collective behind you

You get the introductions, the advice and the woman who has already solved the thing you're stuck on. Membership is the rolodex as much as the rooms.

How it works

From application to keys.

1

Apply

Tell us what you're building and how you'd use the house, whether that's working here, hosting, events or all three. It takes a few minutes.

2

We come back to you

We read every application ourselves and reply personally. We'll say yes or not yet. If the house is full, you'll go on a short list for the next open seat.

3

Take your seat, or join the list

A seat in the house comes with keys and the run of the place. The Guest List, with one annual fee, gets you the community and every event without a key. Compare them.

4

Offer your perk

Every member gives something to the collective. It might be a discount on your work, an hour of what you know or an introduction worth making. It goes in the perk book for everyone else.

What happens here

More than a desk.

House Guests. Our salon-style conversation series with founders, creatives, tastemakers and leaders across industries. Sometimes it's a panel, and sometimes it's coffee around the kitchen table.

The Café. Stocked with female-founded brands we love. It works as gifting, not retail: the brands share their products for members to try.

Brand residencies. A few brands each season take a room in the house and bring it to life.

Member gatherings. Members build the calendar. If there's a dinner you've been meaning to host, host it here.

Who it's for

Women who are building something.

We're founders first: women running their own companies, plus the operators and creatives who work alongside them. You don't need a big company. You need to be building something, to want to be around other people who are, and to be willing to give something back.

The house is small on purpose. We would rather have thirty-one people who use it and look out for each other than three hundred who don't.

Questions we hear a lot

The honest answers.

Is this a coworking space?
Partly. Members work here, but it's a house rather than an office floor. It's smaller, quieter and more personal, and the rooms, the events and the people matter as much as the Wi-Fi.
What's the difference between the Founding 31 and the Guest List?
A seat in the house (the Founding 31) gets you keys and the run of the house every weekday: walk into any free room, use the phone booths, reserve the rest and host your own gatherings. The Guest List is the community without a key. For one annual fee you get every event, the member directory and perk book, member rates on the Dining Room and Podcast Studio, and day passes when you want to work from the house. See them side by side.
What is the perk I'd offer?
Whatever you do well. That could be a discount on your product or service, an hour of your expertise or a standing introduction. You decide what it is and how much. It lives in the perk book, and if you use the book well it can pay for the membership on its own.
How much does it cost?
We share pricing when we invite you in. A seat in the house is billed monthly or annually, and the Guest List is one fee a year.
Can I see the house before I apply?
Yes. Tick the box on your application or email us and we'll find a time.
Can I come to events if I'm not a member?
Most of the calendar is for members and their guests. If you want to be invited to everything, that's exactly what the Guest List is for.
Can I book the house for a private event?
Yes. Private events are booked in advance and confirmed once the agreement is signed and paid. Email us your date and what you have in mind.
Can I record a podcast here without being a member?
Yes. The Podcast Studio can be booked by the session. See how it works.

Start with a few questions.

The application takes a few minutes. We read every one and come back to you either way.
